My husband and I are taking a short vacation this week, so our menu is a little up-in-the-air. On our trip, we plan to make our own breakfasts, snack on crackers, cheese, fruits, veggies, and nuts throughout the day, and eat out for dinner in the late afternoons. We'll be back home by Friday, so here's what next weekend looks like.

My menu next week will look pretty similar to yours (planning a quickie getaway ... no hubby though, just mom and kid!). I love the idea of taking/making your own meals while on vacation, it's something I learned from my mom. What a savings, it's healthier and (almost) as quick at wandering around an area you aren't familiar with trying to find someplace to eat (but fun for some of the meals).
It's so nice you guys can get away, enjoy!
Have a great vacation. Good short menu.
