Declutter Challenge - Days 16 and 17

As you can tell, I didn't post a Declutter Challenge report yesterday. That's because I wasn't in the house very much yesterday, and what time I was in the house was spent getting ready to leave the house or preparing meals for the people in my house. Or taking a nap. That was late in the afternoon, though. So no decluttering accomplished on Day 16.

Today is Day 17, though, and although I need to do my grocery shopping, I should have a 15-minute slot to stick in some decluttering. I must be running out of places to declutter, because the only place I can think of is that upstairs hall closet. That's good . . . and bad. Good because it means the insides of my house are shaping up. Bad because I don't want to work on that hall closet. But life is not about what I like, so I will work on the hall closet for 15 minutes again today.

How's it going in your home? Let us know what you're doing!

Update: One 15-minute session in that closet got the other side of it reorganized, much to my astonishment! The entire closet still needs something, some bins or something, but I'll have to figure that out. It at least looks better now.

I didn't know you had this other blog until today. It is SOOOO pretty!!! After reading through everything here I am inspired to re-commit my January resolution to de-clutter my house this year. Why is it that resolutions made in January usually only last until the end of January? Anyway, thanks for nudge to get me going again!
